Aunt Susan across the country already knows what everyone looks like. What she really wants is a peek into who your children are becoming, how your family laughs together and what your daily life feels like this year.
The goal is not to manufacture a perfect holiday moment. It is to document the real ones beautifully.
Your session could look like decorating the tree, baking cookies, building Legos, gardening or tending to the farm, making homemade pasta, riding bikes, dancing in the kitchen or simply settling into the kind of ordinary afternoon you know you will miss someday.
We can layer in holiday details, but they don't have to be the whole theme. You will leave with images that work beautifully for a seasonal card and still feel like your family in February, May and ten years from now.

We will still create a few beautifully composed portraits. But the heart of your gallery will be the expressions, connections and tiny details that could never be recreated exactly the same way.

Holiday flare is welcome. Matching personalities are not required.
You do not need an elaborate idea before you inquire. Your questionnaire and planning process will help us turn the things your family already loves into a session that feels natural, elevated and personal.
At-Home Holiday
Decorate the tree, bake cookies, wrap gifts, make hot chocolate or let the kids proudly show off their bedrooms and favorite toys.

Homemade pasta, family recipes, an annual backyard activity, gardening or the ritual everyone looks forward to each year.
Out and About
Bikes, the beach, ice cream, a favorite neighborhood, a boat day or a location that already belongs to your family story.

I will gently guide the experience, make room for their personalities and adjust when real life inevitably happens.

For 30–60 minutes, you get to focus on your people. I will guide, observe, redirect when needed and preserve the moments unfolding between you.
Delivery
Your professionally edited gallery will arrive ready for downloading, sharing, printing, gifting and becoming this year’s much-better-than-generic holiday card.

Before everyone gets dressed.
The planning process will cover the details specific to your family. These answers should help you decide whether the experience feels like the right fit.
Not at all. Holiday details can be included lightly, fully or not at all. The main purpose is to document your family as you are right now. Your gallery can feel seasonally warm without every image being tied specifically to Christmas.
You will never be left wondering what to do. I will guide where to stand, how to arrange yourselves and how to interact when direction is helpful. Then I will leave enough room for genuine expressions and natural moments to happen.
Your children are not expected to perform for the camera. We will build the session around interaction, movement and activities so they have something to do besides smile on command. Breaks, silliness and changes of direction are all part of working with real families.
Yes. At-home sessions are often the most personal because they include the rooms, routines and details already woven into your family’s life. Outdoor and meaningful off-site locations are also available.
You will receive styling guidance based on your location, activity, home and overall vision. The goal is coordinated and intentional—not identical, costume-like or disconnected from who you normally are.
Booking early gives us the best choice of dates and enough breathing room to thoughtfully plan your concept, wardrobe and location. Availability is limited because each family receives a personalized planning experience.
Your final turnaround time will be listed in your agreement. Be sure to select a session date that allows enough time if you plan to use the photographs for holiday cards or gifts.
The retainer reserves your selected date and is non-refundable. Your full rescheduling and cancellation terms will be clearly outlined in the agreement before you sign.
